Can it be? UPDATES? Fractals, no less! Yes, I'm back to playing with Apophysis because it's just too much fun to give up. This time, I'm going to be experimenting with combining the fractals with traditional/digital works.

Still plugging along with the Challenge... I must finish before September. I must, I must, because I don't know if I'll have much access to a scanner (for free) at college.

HOLY CRAP COLLEGE.

I needs a job.

I needs to get off I Can Has Cheezburger? My grammar's shot to hell.

Anyway, I need a job but NO ONE IS HIRING....! Damn it, my town is dead. Wish me luck for a spot at the River Museum, that'd be fun.

It would also be nice if I had some good books to read. Any suggestions? I can't keep rereading Stephen King and Harry Potter and Tamora Pierce, my brain will rot.

FIFTEEN DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL!

This is including weekends, by the way. The last day is MAY 15TH.

Best part is, as a *senior* I don't have to take final exams, and the very last day, the whole school is going to an amusement park. Not a very good one, but it's an amusement park. I ain't complainin'. Some brats are, though - I wanna spend my last day at SCHOOL! *sob* - Seriously, you've had four years, and it's not like we'll never see it again - graduation, remember? Bah. Idiots.

ELEVEN DAYS.

At least four of those days have assemblies, and thus shortened periods. One day is May Crowning, which basically involves the seniors bringing up adorable little kids with flowers and then ditching the rest of the day. And one amusement park day. Oh, snap.

And yet the teachers still insist on making us work... honestly. My Physics teacher says we have two more tests to take. D=

May 2nd

Okay. Holy crap.

I was zipping down Route 9 like usual, going home, la la la. The traffic was kind of heavy since I'd gotten out late - I had Cooking Club today, our last meeting ever... I created it in my junior year with my buddies, and it's depressing that it's ended - anyway. People were braking, and that means that either A.) some stupid person had gotten into the left lane and was slowing us down or B.) there's a cop up ahead and people were cutting back to the speed limit. Usually, it's B, so people brake in a hurry. Sure enough, blue and red lights were flashing ahead; they'd pulled a van over. Being a curious creature, I looked over to see who had been pulled over - it was a nondescript white van. Kinda creepy.

Then I looked closer and saw that someone had spray-painted the side of the van with "FREE CANDY." And I'm pretty sure there was a drawing next to the title, but I couldn't make it out. By the way, it was written in bright red and the letters were sort of... dripping.

Yeah. Freaked me out. I screamed out "PEDOPHILE RAPIST!" as I was going by. Gonna watch the news tonight, see if there's any mention of it.

I have just discovered a trove of Storm Hawks fanart on DA and I am now bouncing off the walls... for now I know that I am not the only rabid Stork fangirl.

I can't see any real pairings in it, though, and I'm scared to look too deeply for fear of what I might find... for some reason, the two strongest pairings I think are canon are either PiperXAerrow or PiperXStarling. For some reason Piper strikes me as going either way... but CN would never go for yuri. Also, I totally support SnipeXCyclonia xD [link] Snipe makes me laugh... so much. Massive torso + tiny legs.
